Oregon Wing Encampment???

I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about the Oregon Wing Encampment. I have heard some rumblings about it but nothing definite. I really would like to go so any information would help.

If you want to be a cadet officer....you MUST complete an encampment.

Deadline: 9 July 2005

Location:  We are PRIVILEGED this year to be at the EXCELLENT FACILITY at:
MONMOUTH MILITARY ACADEMY

Space Available: 0nly 50 positions available on a first-come, first serve basis.

Requirements:
c/Amn or above
13 years of age
Completion of CPPT if the cadet was born before 25 Jan 1987

Cost:  $140.00

Last name and {CAPID #} in upper right hand corner of check

Encmapment Packing List

   Current Membership Card
   Copy of your parents' medical card (front and back)
   1 OD web belt with canteen and canteen cover (not a camel back)
   2 short sleeve AF blues shirts/blouses with epaulets and wing patch
   2 pair AF blue pants (females may substitute one skirt)
   1 set of cutouts, grade insignia, ribbons, and nametag
   1 flight cap with hat device
   4 white V-neck T-shirts (males only)
   1 AF blue tie-tab (females), or tie with tie tack (males)
   1 AF blue belts with silver buckle (for AF blues that require a belt)
   1 pair of black low quarter shoes (leather preferred)
   8 sets of underwear
   3 Bras (female), white or gray, at least 2 sports-type
   8 pairs of black socks (3 for low quarters, 5 for boots)
   8 pairs of athletic socks
   2 sets of BDUs with all patches
   5 T-shirts (military black or military brown)
   2-3 light colored T-shirts
   1 BDU cover
   1 pair of combat boots – WELL BROKEN IN
   Boot Blousers
   1 AF blue belt and subdued (black) buckle
   1 Bar Soap
   1 Box kleenex

   1 eighteen inch ruler
   1 pair of gym shoes
   2-3 sets of gym clothes
   1 long sleeve set of sweats
   Raincoat/poncho
   Shoeshine kit
   Towel and washcloths
   Individual toiletries (soap, shampoo, razor, foot powder)
   Sunscreen
   Shower shoes (thongs)

Everything listed on the list above is required as well as the following:

   2 extra pairs of athletic socks, boot socks, bras (females), and
                underwear
   2 extra black T-shirts and white V-necks       
   1 civilian outfit
   Shirt garters
   1 notebook with 200 sheets of paper
   1 CAPM 39-1
   1 Drill and Ceremonies Manual (1996 edition)
   4 writing utensils
   1 Highlighter
   Staff may bring a wristwatch



The following items are PROHIBITED and WILL NOT be brought to the encampment. If these items are found, they WILL be confiscated.


Knives
Alcoholic beverages of any kind
Matches, lighters, fire starters, fireworks
Non-prescription drugs (including Aspirin)
Electronic entertainment devices
More than $ 20.00 in cash
Pagers, cell phones
Tobacco products of any kind
Questionable reading material
Clocks (including wristwatches)
Radios
Food of any kind (candy, chips, etc.)
