Has anyone made a guide to the steps on how to get a CAP plane in the air?  There are many steps: WMU, WMIRS, flight release, etc.  Has anyone written these steps down in an easy to use list or guide? If so, could I have a copy?

Thanks.

1. Call FRO
2. Use checklists in the airplane
3. When you get to ~50 kts pull back gently... :D

Seriously, it will vary from Wing to Wing.

florida wing is

1) Call/email the FRO you will be using and make sure he is available
2) Enter Data for your flight in WMIRS with your correct FRO or select Multiple FRO's
3) The day of your flight call the FRO , he will then release the flight on WMIRS , and essentially do the IMSAFE checklist.
4) Have fun and fly.
5) Contact the FRO as soon as you land.
6) In my case the FRO that i use , asks you to send the hobbs and tach times via email

PAWG has developed such a guide for new pilots.

Check with your squadron commander.

Or if that doesn't work, your group commander.
