For those of us that have time for Halloween, or as the Mayor of Chicago has declared it, Orange and Black Day, stupid political correctness.
If you are confident in you abilities and experience, whether someone else is impressed is irrelevant. - Eclipse

That was in poor taste, Laddie.  You may wish to reflect on this.

Guessing you didn't read CAPM 39-1, table 1.1

With the "Do not Wear" box checked:

Quote from: CAPM 39-1
under any circumstance that would tend to bring discredit or reproach
upon the uniform.

I think halloween counts.

Maybe yes, maybe no.

After all, the difference between "blue utility jumpsuit" and "chevron guy from Stargate SG-1" is about $15 in patches and some Velcro.

Then there was the smurf suit I wanted to convert into the first CAP "party suit" (as seen during the Vietnam War).

And here I figured I was the only one thinking this.

Looks like you have a choice for Halloween: you can wear the uniform and go out as a CAP member, or don't wear the uniform and go out as an utter toolbag.

I violated no regulations whatsoever.

Ain't velcro great?

You know what's great about CAPTalk?

The fact that a quickie one liner can start the "Frothing at the Mouth Machine" (TM) faster than you can say "NOTF!"

Preach it!  I've been apt to believe that yin is to yang as CAPTalk is to SSRIs.

Most of the time.   ;)

Using a CAP uniform for Halloween is not too far off base.

Once a year, regular folk dress up in a costume and pretend to be what they are totally not.

I know of some CAP members who do that once a week.....
