Finally, I'm promoted to Major

I became eligible for promotion on Nov. 10, 2013. Today I got an email from my Commander saying "Congratulations".  I was promoted effective Nov. 10, 2013. It took all this time to get it posted in E-services.

Well, anyway, I'm relieved it finally went through.
