So, I have a legacy member that has completed level II but more specifically...

"The second milestone is the Davis Award. Members must have completed Level One of the senior member professional development program as well as the CAP Officer Basic Course. Members must also complete the Squadron Leadership School and achieve at least a technician rating in a specialty track of their choice."

So, the member has met these qualifications plus the Yeager Award. Is this Davis milestone award/certificate sent to the member without any input from the squadron to NHQ.  I don't remember exactly how I came about receiving it myself.

It is submitted/awarded via the Professional Development Awards module in eServices. Once approved by the squadron commander, the certificate is sent to the unit for presentation.

The Davis Award is not an option via Professional Awards module in eServices.  It shows he qualified in the squadron PD  report.   I can't find it anywhere in eServices to request it.

It is the award for completion of Level 2. When level 2 is completed and recorded the Davis Award is then awarded.

Correct, from Membership Services...

"It should come automatically as long as the award shows in the member's record."

It just came in the mail today to my address for the member.  Once it shows up as earned in eServices it is going to get  generated and mailed to the squadron commander.
