I am putting together a Safety Policies Regulation for my Group. I was appointed to the Safety Officer position and we haven't really had a Group Safety Officer in a couple years so I am basically starting from scratch. Just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of what I should include or what kind of training I should have the Squadron Safety Officers Complete. Any help would be Appreciated. Thanks.
All the requirements for Safety officers are in the curriculum. Beyond anything your Wing may require in addition, I would stay away from additional requirements.
Between surveys, stand-down days, and already established regulations, there's plenty to keep people "safe".
