Prior Service Army.....

Can any of the prior Army, ARNG, AR, NG people in here kindly point me to a resource to where I could find new or used Army dress greens at a reasonable price? I've googled everything I can think of, and even tried going to the Army's website to see if they had any suggestions as to where to find things if the PX was out of stock, but only found websites that offered surplus as it became available. My local Army/Navy stores had only a few items (one store had seven dress green shirts that were all too small, and a single pair of pants that wouldn't fit half the cadets I know, the other store had two pairs of pants, one too small, the other with a bunch of holes, and the garrison cap). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!! Hooah!

It seems to me that the best source for used Greens would be a Thrift Shop at an Army installation, if you happen to live near one.  With the phase out of the Greens, the Clothing Sales Stores will have a limited supply or will be out of most things.  I don't know when the Blues become mandatory, but I think that it is pretty soon.  I was talking to an AD Major assigned to West Point last week and he mentioned something about the deadline coming up, perhaps early next year.

I can't help you, because the closest Army installation to me is a Guard facility and it is 200 miles away.

Are you sure you don't want the Army service Uniform??  Most places are only selling what is in stock.  No one is producing greens anymore.  It is a "dead uniform".
