I think my wing does things weird.


I submitted electronically.

My squadron commander forwarded electronically.

I have a feeling when it gets to wing, they print it.  Put it in the "to sign" box.  Get it signed.  Put it in an envelope.  Put that envelope in the "outgoing box" at the end of the week it gets mailed to region....and on...and on...

Start rattling their chain... in this day of electronic submissions there's no excuse for delays in processing. But be sure you go at it nicely...  ;D

When my paperwork for Level IV 'got lost' up the chain I resubmitted it again; it also helped that I was PCSing to Kwajalein and wanted the award presented before I left.
