Obituary of John Anthony Schofield

A man from a small country town in Gunnedah, New South Wales, Australia. Born July 28, 1948 and passed away November 1, 2023. After graduating from Gunnedah High School, he attended college in Sydney, Australia and obtained his Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Degree. This was the beginning of an amazing journey that took him all over the world. He has lived in New Zealand, Europe, the United States and of course, Australia.
John is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of progressive experience. He also has had a passion for airplanes and flying since he was a young boy. He is an instrument rated private pilot with over a thousand hours.
John is a member of the Arizona Civil Air Patrol (CAP) for the past 11 years, and held numerous positions at both the squadron and wing levels. He also served as a dossier for the Air Force Museum at the Minneosta/St.Paul (MSP) Airport.
John will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Gayle and their family.
