Jerry Walker Oxendine, 76, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Green's.

A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, he was born on January 14, 1948, to the late Rev. Sidney and Sue Oxendine, but spent most of his life in Gaston County.

Jerry was a member of Gaston Baptist Church in Dallas, NC, where he was the organist for over ten years. He retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He also volunteered at the Civil Air Patrol where he had the rank of Colonel. He was an avid Ham radio operator, CAP Kitty Hawk 426.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Oxendine.
