Can someone please tell me why my ribbons aren't showing up?  I'm out of ideas.

MIKE

I can't get it to link properly either.  Image tags don't want to work 'cause it's not an "image".

Lol thanks, do seniors even wear those? I feel like a poser

THRAWN

Yep. Seen it more than once. At least is shows that you have at least seen an airplane up close. Something some in CAP can't claim....

Well at least I won't be the only one...might be time to upgrade though

I know quite a few Seniors that wear them. We have one who earned his as a cadet, and is a 747 pilot who is in the air more than he is not. Since he is not a CAP Pilot he loves to wear his solo badge  :)

Since most solo badges are earned as a cadet, when a senior wears them, it lets all the cadets know they are a  "prior service cadet" and they respect that, at least around here anyways. Rock them until you get your aircrew or observer wings.

Awesome, thanks!

I was thinking though, am I allowed to since I'm not currently solo qualified?

Wouldn't I need to be currently qualified to wear them? Assuming I'm interpreting the 60-1 correctly.

Once earned, they are permanent
