I'm in NER, haven't seen a maule ever...makes me wonder if there are any at all. Can anyone testify if they have seen or flown one of these rare birds?

There is at least one Maule in NER, flying glider tow. Might be more than 1.

The Maules were brought expressly to tow gliders. So if you don't fly gliders you probably won't see one.
