Anyone here havve any experience with the Scuf controllers for Xbox?

My buddy has one, and I've used it a couple times. I honestly think its a waste of money.

Is this for a gift? Something else? No XBox, but had the controller with USB attachment for when I did PC gaming. I always found their controllers to be very good, and aftermarket is just...not quite there most of the time.

Gift no, something I heard about watching Youtube and looked into.  I like my gadgets and stuff and with as much as I game wanted to get opinions outside of usually review sources. 

The pricetag is wow  and Microsoft is releasing something similiar here shortly.  Just like to shop and look around before spending alot.
