I need to get in touch with the WA State AF MARS group. Does anyone have a contact email they could get to me?

Since leaving CAP, I have thought about getting involved with MARS.

Do you have to have your own HAM setup?

Yes. HF capable on the appropriate frequencies and some digital capability. You will go through a training program. Participation requirement is 12 hours each quarter. Depending on where you are there may or may not be VHF activity but most AF mars is primary HF
I have been in af mars a long time though not very active right now
Most net activity regional
I'm in Mo but participate in ILWG CAP

They also get HSPD-12 compliant ID cards. Just sayin' :D

Not familiar with the ID card. There USAF MARS Operating Instructions has a blurb about an ID card but I don't know anyone who has one
