I am just starting in CAP (I just went through my first 3 meetings). I attend college and therefore I am a part of my local squadron (Squadron A) nearby my college. For the summer (late may to end of August) I will be back at home and therefore unable to attend meetings at my current squadron. There is a squadron nearby to my home however, (Squadron B) would I be able to transfer to Squadron B for the time being of those months and than return to my local squadron (Squadron A)?  Any one have any advice?
I am a senior member if that matters.
I am going to be a flight officer.

Where are you going to spend most of your time home or school?

Transferring back and forth isn't generally a good idea for cadets, and is unnecessary for adults.

With the acquiesce of both CC's, you can attend meetings at the other squadron, participate fully,
receive whatever training (other then Level 1) you'd like, etc., without having to change charters.

During your first 6 months to a year, you will be primarily in "listen / ask mode" and seeing the perspective
from two different units will probably serve you well as a new member.
