QuoteBeginning 1 November 2017 CAP will be moving to a new Knowledgebase application. During this transition we will have to rebuild our answer base. There may be a slight delay until the full Knowledgebase will be available. The new Knowledgebase will continue to provide 24/7 access for member questions.

Warm up your questions, lads. Here's your grand opportunity.

The new version runs lightning fast on the server. Partially due to only having one answer for everything: "Ask your chain of command in your local squadron."
"Don't try to explain it, just bow your head
Breathe in, breathe out, move on ..."

Well.....there is actually two answers.

Answer 1)  READ THE FRACKING MANUAL!
Answer 2) Ask your chain of command.

It seems to me that there  are essentially three flaws in your suggestions:

At times the manual is ambiguous or the exact passages are not easily located;
Some of us have seen seen instances where NHQ and lower echelon  staff have offered advice that is contradicted by the plain language of the regulations; and
Commanders may not know the regulations, or may have interpreted them differently from the plain language.

:o  It happens more than most of us would like to think.  :(

Will this new online Knowledge database help with any of that? Or will it just point to the same language as the regs?  If it clarifies points, then maybe the wording in the database should replace that in the regs.
