Title: Annual Reports
Post by: M.S. on March 13, 2006, 08:19:35 PM
Do any squadrons ever issue an "annual report" much like CAP NHQ does or other companies and non-profits?   I'm thinking something along the lines of a booklet that lists the expenses for the year, sources of income, highlights & accomplishments of the year, maybe list any annual awards recipients in there like cadet of the year, senior of the year, any commanders' commendations, etc.

Has anybody ever done this?  If so, how well did the members like it?

Unless you have a really big squadron, I can't see it being very useful (given the cost of producing it).

That's just my gut feeling though, it may be worthwhile to others.

Way back in the old days....

I used to do something similiar when I was a squadron commander but put it out around the time of our Christmas Banquet/Awards Dinner.  Cost is always an issue.

If you have a squadron website  you can always put it out there in the format of a printable pdf file.  Anything that you can do electronically now I recommend.
