Title: Is your e-Services record updated?
Post by: JC004 on August 24, 2007, 06:01:21 PM
In my various stuff that I do with Member Search at Wing, I keep finding a lot of records where I can say off the top of my head that information for an individual is outdated, or it is missing important stuff.  Please folks, keep your e-Services information up to date.

I know a lot of members here are probably more updated than the general population since you must know basically how to use a computer in order to post here and maim avatars, but make sure your stuff is in there and correct.

When I was a Personnel Officer at the squadron and Group levels, we used to go through and have members confirm their record once per quarter.  This is a good way to keep stuff updated.

^  What do those of us who accidentally deleted our e-services file do?  Just a question......not that I really did that.   ;)

Second question......those members who still use typewriters......??

I had to go all out to update mine.  They had all kinds of information wrong, like when I joined CAP.  They actually had my join date listed before I had actually joined.  No record of Mitchell or any encampments.  I had to scan certificates and take a picture of my Mitchell (too big for scanner) and email it to the lady.  She was pi$$ed to say the least, like I was keeping her from something.

I look at mine reguarly. I'm always waiting for a surprise entry in there.

With this crazy system, I expect to log in one day and find myself promoted to Brig Gen

That'll happen once General Colgan takes command.  >:D

The only thing that will happen when Colgan takes over is a mass disappearance of Lt Col's........ :'(

I like to check mine just about every login to E-Services unless I know everything is correct.

Justin, is that you?  I haven't seen you floating around online in years.

Worried something may have happened.

Staying out of trouble?  Probably not.

I've updated it as often as it's needed to be.  Which has been quite frequently.
