Title: Flags Carried by CAP Color Guards
Post by: Airman De Ruiter on January 27, 2013, 12:55:28 AM
I'm probably missing something very easy to find, but I can't seem to find the rules governing what flag CAP Color Guardsmen carry. Sad thing is I actually have done a CAP colors presentation, but I don't recall what the other flag was.

Depends on the venue.

For a squadron presentation a United States Flag and your Squadron's flag.

For external you can go wit the standard or replace or even add a state flag.

If you are doing something with DV's present it can get complicated from there.....so let's keep it simple...US Flag and State Flag.

Most Color Guards use squadron flag + US flag

RTFM - Read The Furnished Materials!

I'll bet if you had looked at the Index I posted the link to, you would have found this:

CAPR 900-2, Civil Air Patrol Seal, Emblem and Flag Etiquette

You really need to direct all this energy you seem to have, in the directions you've been pointed. Otherwise, you are just spinning your wheels.
