NER Winter Cadet Activities

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Northeast Region Cadet Leadership School – Winter (RCLSW).

This year's course will be held starting Thursday, 26 December 2013 and run through through Wednesday, 01 January 2014 at Fort Devens, Ayer Massachusetts. The move to Devens will open a wide array of new and exciting training opportunities for the RCLSW program. The year promises to be our best one yet.

At this time there is not a 2013 RCLSW web site, we will hopefully have one up shortly with information. Please visit http://rclsw.nhcapcadets.org/index.html for information about past RCLSW's.

The cost for this year's school is $225 and covers all instructional materials, textbooks, and manuals, meals, billeting and bedding, RCLS polo and more. Checks or Money Orders should be made out to "Cadet Programs – Northeast Region CAP"

Requirements to attend RCLSW"
1) Be a current cadet member of CAP
2) Be at least a c/MSgt by the start of the school
3) Be at least 14 years of age by the start of the school
4) Be a graduate of a CAP basic Encampment

Application Procedures:
1) Complete a CAPF 31, 160, and 161.
2) Submit your CAPF 31 through your Squadron and Sing commander for approval (e-mail approval is acceptable, please print e-mails giving approval and attach to you CAPF 31).
3) Mail completed CAPF 31, 160, 161 and check or money order to the following address.

Applications for RCLSW will remain open through 08 November 2013 or until the course is full. This year's school has a limited number of slots and cadets will be slotted on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended that cadets apply as soon as possible to guarantee their slot.

Both of these activites (RCLS, NCOA, and Winter Encampment) are open to any CAP cadet.
