My squadron is pretty small, and we need some new cadets because a lot of our top people are 16-17. What has worked for your squadrons, and what ideas do you have to recruit new members?

Start at the middle schools and high schools. Usually there is a "back to school" night where the school allows organizations to put a table up for activities for students and parents. Here in NJ we have that in late September. We also look at home school organizations and meet with them and recruit the kids you wont see at the schools. The best way is from the cadets you already have and have them reach out to friends in their schools and communities. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks. There aren't many schools around my squadron's area, so we can't really do that. Even my squadron is out the way (I have to go 26 miles).
