Anyone planning on attending the 2010 PRSC at Nellis?

I graduated from the 2009 PCRSC last year. You'll definitely enjoy the experience. Vegas is clearly visible to the south, but you'll have very little time off to really enjoy it, unless you spend a couple of days before or after the school.

Chow at the chow hall is excellent, but you have to walk a ways or snag a ride in one of the CAP vans. Excellent tours of Red Flag, the Thunderbirds hangar (do NOT step on the Thunderbird painted on the hangar floor!) and the 'petting zoo' (the Threat Training Facility). BX area is a short walk from the Warrior Inn (where most of the students will be housed). Bring plenty of money for souvenirs; some are not available anywhere else!

The CCRSC will be conducted during the same time as the PCRSC.  The CCRSC begins on Monday afternoon and concludes on Thursday.  I have been to Nellis for CCRSC on three prior occasions.  This will be the 4th.  A great environment for a school -- especially with the tours previously mentioned.  Traffic wise...about 45 minutes from the Strip.  The college activities keep you very busy that trips off base are rare.  Souvenirs:  from past trips -- of course a coin, a Thunderbird coffee mug and Thunderbird shirt.   Not only are the Thunderbirds there...but there are F-22's as well.
