I am curious on what CAP Historians are currently doing around the nation and especially in Texas.

I'm unofficially the squadron historian for Addison Eagles Composite Squadron. Gotta corner some of the people who've flown Firewatch missions lately and get some info for the squadron history - unfortunately, there's very little info preserved about the Addison Eagles and few, if any of the original members are still active in the squadron. Gonna have to get in contact with others at group or wing level to see if there's any 'tribal knowledge' left.

Strongly recommend reading up on the Air Force's 84-series instructions for historians - it goes into even more depth than the CAP historical pamphlets and regs.
