Given that all the haircut locations are closed for safety reasons, will grooming standards be temporarily relaxed for uniform wear on missions?

(I really thought we needed to make a COVID-19 uniform question thread, so future threads don't get devolved into uniform questions. Hopefully this beat the punch!)

I can't begin to imagine something less important to worry about, ask about, or even bring up.

We aren't doing anything because of ORM issues, right? Why not discuss grooming standards?

(In fact we are gearing up for missions - multiple likely soon - as we speak, but from what I have seen here no one believes that there is anything we can do, so why not talk haircuts?)

As a matter of fact yes, you are free to relax on grooming standards during missions, provided you wear the blue flight suit, blue bdu's, polo shirt etc. If wearing an Air Force style uniform, then you must meet grooming standards as outlined in CAPR 39-1.

Unless you're CAP Special Ops (CAPSOC), then its relaxed grooming standards and max per-diem at all times.

Please do. I'm like three weeks beyond what is socially acceptable. Might need to put the classic SkyHornet look soon..

Is CAPCAPOC included in CAPSOC when mobilized on Air Force orders?

The fact that he asked in the first place shows he doesn't have a need to know.
The appropriate authorities have been notified.

Now that the barber shops are closed, I am kind of worried about my dress and appearance.....
