Previous Community Service

Can you get the Community Service Ribbon for previous service before you joined CAP?  I have 73 hours recorded that was completed before CAP.

I would say "no"...since the Community Service Award/Ribbon is a recognition from CAP bestowed on its members for service rendered outside of CAP.  It would be safe to say that service prior to membership in CAP would not be recognized.  I would recommend looking into the President's Volunteer Service Award if you are endeavoring to receive recognition for service prior to CAP.
