Morning all,

I've been given some space on my squadron's CAP website to have a virtual bulletin board for the AE department. I was looking for ideas or perhaps examples (if you are willing to share) on what I might include. Our website is a Google Sites setup, so if you're familiar with that setup, that might help with suggestions. Currently, I just have a 'welcome' post, a post detailing the rocketry program in which we are halfway through, and I'm planning on putting a page in for all Wing announcements. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Think of your audience.  Links to Aerospace Education resources online that cadets (rather than instructors) might be interested in.  For a while, our squadron was also tweeting/sharing an Aerospace Video of the Week that we'd found on YouTube -- usually inspirational, educational, and interesting videos relating to aviation & aerospace.

A couple of examples from our Twitter feed:

For your page, you could simply link to a playlist on YouTube that you curate & add to, so you don't need to update the webpage with every video added.

There are, of course, plenty of other ideas too.

Major, thank you very much for the suggestions. I love the Youtube idea and will look into how to integrate it this Tuesday during our meeting!
