Title: CAPette's
Post by: 754837 on June 11, 2012, 03:26:50 PM
It seems to me that in the mid-1970's, there was an all female CAP cadet drill team associated with Oklahoma State University.  Does anyone else remember that?

CAP or AFROTC???   College stuff usually is ROTC.

It was a CAP deal... I don't remember much else except they caught the eye of every male cadet in the region!

In the 1960's and early 70's, all female units were fairly common. Florida had three. I believe you're correct on a all-girl drill team from Oklahoma State University. Only had the team one year due to many cadets turning senior.

The report to Congress for 1971 is great reading!
