At my squadron we have both Alpha and Bravo flights. I'm looking for names for them, any ideas?

How about "Alpha Flight" and "Bravo Flight" ..?

Why would you need different names for them?

If you are looking for some team building esprit de corps........just task the flight to pick a name.

If you're looking for something like encampment go with things like Mitchell Flight, Maverick Flight, Eagle Flight, Talon Flight, etc.

If I recall correctly, which I usually do, at my basic encampment we were the Bravo Blitzkrieg. But I have to agree that the names themselves should come from within the flight and not be imposed on the flight.

Brave Bravo.

Google "minor league hockey mascots". If you cant find a winner there, you wont find one anywhere.

Cool Mace

Bravo flight Battle Toads.

When I first joined, this was the name for Bravo. They had a Kermit the Frog dressed in the Marine dress uniform.
Pretty cool stuff.
CAP is what you make of it. If you don't put anything in to it, you won't get anything out of it.

Kermit?

Not the actual cool Battle Toads?

Cool Mace

Yes, Kermit...

The flight commander that came up with the name is a Marine Corps "freak". If you will? Kermit was a kewl mascot for some time in the squadron.

He is now a Staff Sergeant in the Corps. The name lasted for about two years after he left, but is now just a nice memory in the minds of members that were in at that time.

He passed down the frog to the new flight commander, and I just confirmed that he still has it (he's in the office next to me).
