Active Shooter - a topic for a squadron meeting

The will be an "active shooter" class taught at the PCR Chaplain Corps Staff College in a couple of weeks.

Interesting thread; as a CDI I might well consider adding this to the CD talk list.

That said - I've been in CAP all of two years and the background isn't familiar to me; what happened in the FLWG (in brief, names redacted...    )  that I should be aware of?

FEMA has a independent study course. IS-907, Active Shooter, What You Can Do.  If I remember it took less than an hour to read the mateial and take the exam. Might be an activity for a meeting. Give the course and have the cadets and seniors submit their exam answers online.
