With our diminishing numbers how can you promise the Sheriff, or whoever, that when he calls, CAP will be there? If the local first responders call AFRCC at 2am and they call Wing and Wing calls the nearest squadron and everyone is asleep, or can't get off work, the calls start going to distant squadrons until they can find 2 from this squadron, 1 from another, and maybe 3 from yet another city. Now we are talking travel time and people that haven't worked together, and 6 hours later they show up one by one at the Sheriff's mission base.

The sheriff will not bother calling next time.

Don't write MOUs unless you have enough manpower that when the call comes, several can jump quickly, any time day or night.

Yes .... CAP needs single, unemployed members.

Breathe in, breathe out, move on ..."
