I am just curious about who uses this site so I thought I would ask: Are you an active CAP member?  If not, are you a former member, a prospective CAP member or something else?

I am a former cadet & senior member and recently moved to a new city.  I am considering rejoining CAP.

I am an active CAP Officer, since 1998.  No cadet service or prior military service.  I have been in CAP since College, and thus, my CAP career is older than my Teaching career.  I also command a squadron, one which I helped found.  From about 2003 to 2005 I was was inactive, however, I did maintain my dues are full levels and returned to service after Hurricane Katrina.

The OP might be too new (low post count) to have polls turned on.

If it is turned on, there will be a "Poll" tab between the "New Topic" and "Notify" tabs at the top of the forum list.

Thanks.  It is not there.  I appreciate both your courtesy and helpfulness.

Was a cadet 1999 - 2003, left for the Army, came back in 2010, and very glad I did.

Dad2-4

Was a cadet for 1 year, 1977-78. Didn't renew due to joining MCJROTC in high school and a swiftly failing squadron. Rejoined as a SM in 2001.

Flying Pig

Cadet 87-93, Marines 93-97, Senior 98-04 (break in service) 2006-2011.  Then just ran out of time.  I need to at least get a patron status going before I forget!

FlyTiger77

I was a cadet briefly back in the disco era (1979ish).
Senior member since October of 2001.

Cool Mace

Former cadet. Just turned to the dark side and still waiting on my cookies/donuts (I think that was a trick?).

10 years has not been enough for me, and I look forward to being a member for many more to come.
CAP is what you make of it. If you don't put anything in to it, you won't get anything out of it.

The cookies and donuts were a lie.

Cadet '64-'69. SM '69-'81, '87-current. I think that adds up to 42.

The reduced dues is only for the National Patron Squadron. If you stay in your current unit, the dues stay the same.
