What's BCS? I never heard of that.
"Eagerness and thrill seeking in others' misery is psychologically corrosive, and is also rampant in EMS. It's a natural danger of the job. It will be something to keep under control, something to fight against."

I'm going to hazard a guess and say Basic Cadet School?

If thet's what it is, then I'm sure it will be great for new cadets, but if there won't be one or something there is no reason you cannot create one for your squadron or group.

Go to www.cawgcadets.org and look in the Activities section under BCS and be enlightened.

And it doesn't look like any are scheduled (yet) for this summer.

BCS's are standardized in California. There is a standard curriculum that is used.

Many wings have their own version of what California calls the ILP (Integrated Leadership Program).

Now if you're talking about standardizing on a National scale, good luck!

Sorry that you missed the one at Vandenberg AFB a few weeks ago (Apr 4-6).  There were over 100 cadets from almost every group in attendance.  I would imagine there will be one in the fall of the year either at Travis or March.
