Does anyone know how many CAP members have been killed on actual SAR/DR missions in our history?

I don't know.  You could probably contact the National Historian at NHQ for a possible answer.

National has the list of those killed during World War II on anti-sub patrols and other mssions. But it may be hard to get a list of anyone killed on other mssions since many missions involving SAR/CD didn't specify activity involved with the deaths.

Sounds like something worth researching, though.

I plan on doing more homework on it, if anyone is interested I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks a lot.
