This ham "fox hunt" site had a link to an interesting tool for field RDF. It an Apple I-phone application and looks kind of handy if you are plotting your own bearings.

Major Lord
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

I was fiddling with making something like this for Android but I am just starting at Android development, so nothing I'd put into production for a while.  I was going to try starting with the log app that some people wanted, then move from there.

this app works pretty good I have used a number of times during testing. The only draw back is it uses the cell network for mapping other than that I highly recommend it.
