Railroaded?

Good going.  Keep moving forward, or onward and upward, as we used to say.

Now, what's the next goal?

EMT-83

Make sure your W2 gets updated; you're entitled to another zero!

When's the wetting down?

The CyBorg is destroyed

Ka-thunk ka-thunk...ka-thunk ka-thunk...

That's supposed to be the sound of a train passing over a railway crossing.

Way to go.

Whenever someone makes Captain, I always think of on M*A*S*H* when Father Mulcahy finally pinned them on after a lot of frustration...

Three years and counting until Major. 8)

(If all goes well, I should be pinning on Major in June)

What are you going to do with that extra zero on your pay voucher, anyway?

Congratulations!
I'll be honest, when I saw "Railroaded" I thought this was going to be a complaint thread about some injustice that occurred- I'm ecstatic to be wrong in this case!

Mulcahy: Hawkeye, you're giving me your Captains bars?
Hawkeye: Sure, why not? I never use 'em anyway.
(Audience laugh)

Or something like that, did that from memory. Good episode :D

Excellent work. Welcome to the club!

Thanks for all the responses. I would have replied earlier, but I've been working back to back 10 hour days in a toy warehouse and I'm beat. I don't know what Santa fuels his elves with, but I need some.

I think I'll use that extra zero in my paycheck to buy some new GT gear.  ;D

blackrain

Excellent!

Congratulations on receiving your First Lieutenant Second Award  ;D

I remember well when I received mine.

Congrats on getting railroad tracks (and retiring from the CAP LPA (Lieutenants' Protective Association))! Three more years before the railroad tracks turn to gold bottlecaps...

(In my case, three more years before the tarnish comes off my bottlecaps!)  ;D
