ABU Hats...

Hi -

I haven't been involved in CAP in years and now I'm getting back in. Need new uniforms...

I have a big head. I need at least a 7 7/8 inch hat and Vanguard only sells 7 3/4... where can I get the larger hat? And, can I get ABUs from an AF base? Would Andrews let me in to get uniforms?

They also have ABU shirts and pants, but they are (surprisingly) more expensive than Vanguard's.

If you have access to a military base, most should carry at least 7 7/8, if not larger.

When I looked for an ABU cap at Nellis AFB, I found that they were frequently out of the sizes that most people wear but had the very large and very small sizes.

So.... Same issue, but only with BBDUs and BDUs. Seems legit. :angel:
