Title: Ribbon Rack
Post by: Cadet Aviator on July 18, 2017, 04:12:55 PM
How do I add a ribbon rack and other awards to my signature?

Host the image on a hosting service like photobucket or tinypic, they will give you an embed code, add that code to your signature

Looks good other then dial down the size probably by about 2/3rds.

Making the backgrounds on the badges transparent would make them look a lot better, too.

Looks like you've figured it out.  I agree with the suggestions to dial back the size, though.  I think mine is set to 75 pixels high, and I think is as tall as is reasonable.  I've tried reducing it further, but I did not like the graininess of the ribbons afterwards.

Agree on the size. The sig should rarely be higher than the post text.

One thing you can do is make a table in the sig, put your image in the RH column, and the text in the LH column, reducing the height by about half.

Here's some sample code:

[table]
  [tr]
  [td]table 1[/td]
  [td]          table 2[/td]
  [/tr]

[/table]

Which will look like this:

table 1          table 2
