Mitchell Tests

Do the Mitchell AE and Leadership tests have to be taken and passed in the same test session.  Or can a cadet take one until he passes and then move on to the next one. Or take both and then retake the one they fail at the next session.

It appears our cadets have been told they have to take and pass both tests at the same session.  Example - if they take both, and pass leadership, the following test period they have to take them both again, and pass them both, setting up the potential to pass AE but fail leadership and so on.

Please quote a reg or some guidance for backup please.

They are two separate tests. They do not need to be taken together. Once one is passed it does not need to be repeated if the other needs to be retaken.
