The 2009 Alabama Wing "Iron Man" Competition, hosted by the Auburn Composite Squadron, is just around the corner.

Teams from Alabama and Mississippi are currently slated to compete, with teams from other wings expressing interest as well.  Help make this years event the biggest and best yet!  Bring a team!



"The Auburn Composite Squadron of the United States Air Force Auxillary Civil Air Patrol will be holding their annual CAP Competition on November 21, 2009 at the campus of Auburn University. This competition is open to all cadets and senior members. Teams are made up of 6 competitors from CAP Squadrons nationwide. Extra points awarded to each team which have female and senior member competitors on them. This competition's events will be: Super PFA, Uniform Inspection, Drill and Ceremonies, Emergency Services, Compass Course, ELT Course and the Iron Man Run. The Iron Man Run will take each team around the campus of Auburn having them stop at different stations to complete different tasks which will test their leadership, moral and aerospace knowledge along with their ability to work as a team.
