CAP News Integration with Social Bookmarking/Sharing

What do you all think of the idea of adding social bookmarking/sharing links to the CAP News feed from the cap.gov site?  For those unfamiliar with the concept, the BBC and Wikipedia both have great explanations:

The quick links on every article would allow us to utilize the large number of CAP members to our advantage.  Positive stories about Civil Air Patrol and the work we do would be seen and promoted to potentially massive audiences not normally reached by our communications, and all of it would be free.

Lots of major news sites already do this and more saavy company and non-profit sites are beginning to do this as well.

Thoughts?  Down-sides?

Good plan.  I had this on my list of things to work on eventually, but hadn't got there yet.  We just need them to add the icons.
