For some time I haven't been able to get the "Ask a Question" tab/feature to appear on the CAP Knowledgebase.  I know you need to run a search and/or view an answer before it should appear.  However, no number of searches and viewing answers seems to be able to produce the Ask a Question tab for me.

Anybody else running into this issue?  Are we no longer allowed to ask questions?   ???

Didn't they say something about they were revising "Knowledge"base?

Yes, I believe several of us have had the same problem in the recent past.

No.  Stop asking.  :D

The answers in the knowledge base are dropping off as no one is updating them any longer. Answers more than 6 months old just disappear. At one time we had 82 pages of answers in the knowledge base- 30 pages have already dropped off.

Maybe we should put a IT type in charge of CAP.

I nominate Tedd.

I second the nomination from the floor.  Any others before we put the Voluntelling to a vote?

What a novel idea Chris! :-)

Actually, I just ran into the same thing myself, and searched the KB for the answer for how to submit a question, great idea eh? Well, it said that you had to search for an answer before it would present you with the 'Ask a Question' button. Well, that wasn't working for me, so I tried the other option suggested, Using the 'Site Feedback' link.

Well, I asked my question via this method on 01 Aug, and still no answer. Someone got hit by a bus apparently.

Yup.  We'll pay him well, too.

Tedd is afraid the grade bump would put his pension in a higher tax bracket

I used KB last week with a question/concern about Level 1's not showing up... I got an answer right away.

I can see where that would be a BIG improvement...but then, what self-respecting IT geek (i use that term with the highest of honor attached...since i am one) would really want to have to wade through all the "ID ten T" questions that are probably thrown at them all the time.
