Tru Spec Navy Blue Corporate Flight Suit

I would like to order the Tru Spec Cotton Navy Blue Corporate Flight suit.  Can anyone give me feedback if they wear one and how they like it as far as quality?

IMHO, junk. My success with TruSpec gear has been abysmal in the past. I have no recent experience (10 years or so), but being burned several times makes me very wary. You get what you pay for, and in this case, inexpensive = cheap.

I just picked up a "brand new in the bag" dark blue missile crew bag.  (Seems that I'm not a 40L anymore. *drat* )

I'd rather go that way, given the chance.

Sample size of one, but TruSpec seems to have gotten better with regards to quality in recent years. I've never used their zoom bags, but my uniform coat for work has held up pretty well for 2 years worth of patrol. I even wear the fleece liner off duty regularly and it's still in good shape. I'm a pretty proactive officer in a high crime area and I'm not easy on my work clothes. As always, your mileage may vary.

Thank you.  For a non Nomex Blue flight suit, who would you recommend?

The non-fire retardant blue flight sight that Vanguard used to sell was Rothco, not Tru-Spec, and it was TERRIBLE!

I originally bought the non-nomex blue for Aircrew School in TX, WAY cooler than nomex. Since then, I've put on weight, so I'm in Corp uniforms for everything. The Rothco one is no good.  The Tru-spec ones have gotten better.  I was happy with the quality of the garment I had to return it because of sizing issues.  The Torso isn't long enough for me resulting in a permanent wedgie.

It's a 80% cotton/20% nomex "interlock" blend that meets NFPA requirements for occupational exposure to flash fire.  It's probably not as protective as a 100% nomex suit, but is certainly better than a 100% cotton suit at a comparable price.  An experienced flight crew member in my squadron suggested that the 80/20 blend might be cooler and more comfortable than a 100% nomex suit and that the compromise on nomex content should not be significantly detrimental.  https://www.amronintl.com/downloads/dl/file/id/913/product/974/x_fire_sales_sheet.pdf

It's a rather dark "midnight navy", but seems acceptable.  The suit fits me well from the waist up, but the legs are overly generous creating an excessively baggy appearance.  I plan to have mine altered to take in some of the extra leg circumference.  I'll also have the flap over the shoulder pocket/pen slots removed, although I'll probably keep the rescue knife pocket on the thigh despite the tradition of removing it by some.  While it's being altered, I'll have the appropriate Velcro loop patches added (it already has a patch for the usual leather name tag) and the plastic-encased rank insignia sewn on.

At my advanced age, size, and state of facial hair, I'll never look Top Gun-like in a flight suit, but this should offer a respectable appearance and meet my functional requirements. 

Oh, and while I was ordering from TRU-SPEC, I also got a great quality blue BDU hat in 65/35 rip-stop for another bargain close-out price of $3, and a pair of serious rain pants for $13:

This is my first experience with TRU-SPEC's clothing products, so I can't comment on their long-term viability.  I'm not sure I would have purchased any of this if it hadn't come at the bargain "closeout vault" prices, but I must admit that everything I received seems well-constructed -- I'd say better-than-average for pseudo-military/tactical gear intended for civilian use.   FWIW, YMMV.
