AC was found. No survivors. Not sure if CAP found it or not. A friend of the victims is on a FB group I'm a member of.

A member of my squadron is very, very close to the family so this hits us hard.

Tragic.

Is this confirmed? Stories posted in the last hour or so (1800 Central) indicate debris found, but no bodies.
That doesn't bode well, but no confirmation yet, apparently.

This is the same lake that had a fatal crash last month.

Edit: Wow - 800 feet deep and there are other unrecovered wrecks down there.  Yikes!

A friend of mine was on the mission and posted this elsewhere: Unfortunately, we did not have a good outcome.  We found the plane in  Lake Clark.  No survivors.  Very rough time of the year.
