Time to get out the stitch rippers folks (and more then a few of us will probably have to replace their BDU blouse shirt coat if you
don't have another compliant patch to cover the space).

10.7.2. Reverse American Flag Patch. Full color, in a reversed direction, with gold merrowed edge; 2 inches by 3 inches in dimension. (Note this item is no longer required for wear on the BDU and Corporate-style Field Uniform and will not be permitted for wear after 1 Jan 2017).

Per the chart which begins on Page 121, the only currently approved patches for the right sleeve of the Woodland Camo BDU
and Corporate Field Uniforms are NCSA Patches.

I will not add a patch to that spot!

The spot's unfaded spot will bear witness to the Flag that was! That is the scar of the wound that happened by the removal of the Flag!!!

You know, we didn't even think about wearing the flag on our uniform until the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The Air Force never wore it on either the BDU or ABU, it's an "Army Thing".

The flag was great for all of the times that CAP deployed overseas with other volunteer organizations...

Wait, never mind.  :P

Well, when I rejoined in 1996 I was very active, my squadron which was in Rockland County, NY went to several counties around it. So I was active going to Orange County, Westchester County, Rockland County. At least once every month I travelled to at least two different counties for TRAINEX, parades, etc. Travelled so much that I appropriated from the Navy:

Join CAP and see New York.

So to me, I have been "overseas..."

(ducking to avoid the rotten eggs, banana peels, orange rinds...)
