West MI-CAP-Ret

Newly appointed as unit Admin Officer.  Can someone share with me if there is a regulation that provides templates for PoAs in general (I'm sure i know enough to fill in the blanks, but I'd like ideas for formats and what type of things an Administration PoA should contain).

Thank you,

Dave

I'm the ORWG Administrative Officer. I'm happy to help, but I'm not sure what you're looking for.

What is a Plan of Action, in the context you're describing?

The only PoA in CAP parlance is for AE.

See CAPP 205 for duties and expectations of an admin officer: https://www.capmembers.com/media/cms/P205_971634F7B6FB8.pdf

Also page 39-40 of CAPR 20-1:  http://www.capmembers.com/media/cms/R020_001_73F1BA70FD9EB.pdf
And for closure of many SUI and CI discrepancies.

What about the PoA in CAPP 50-4 for new members?

There are 3 examples of Plans of Action that I can think of off the top of my head. The annual AE plan of action, the PAO plan of action, and the new member plan of action. In each case the regs or guides make it very clear what they're looking for. Any other plan of action would more likely be discretionary and up to you how to format.
