Title: Off-topic sub-forum
Post by: AlphaSigOU on January 04, 2009, 02:20:30 PM
How's about an off-topic subforum where threads that drift can be cut out and dumped there?

How about staying on topic, and resisting the urge to let threads drift going off on a tangent?

High collars are fine, as long as they are worn with blaze-orange ballcaps with grade insignia, right?

How boring.

Really...  boring and frustrating too.

the drift in my opinion adds to the conversation.  Perhaps it was my Italian dinner table conversation upbringing... talk about conversation drift! usually there were 5 topics being discussed and each person was involved in at least 3 of them!

I see the heavy handedness stifles a lot of great conversations/threads.  Even when a fun semi-non CAP thread gets started it gets locked by the lock monster...

Pity....

Why not try an open forum with limited locks?  you might be surprised at how well they work. you might be amazed at how the other forums will stay on topic then too.
