As snow storms sweep across CONUS, you and yours may wonder what to do if snowed in. Before cabin fever sets in, lets share some ideas about constructive things to do to increase our CAP readiness!
1. Study your Task Guides to renew or to advance your ES qualifications:

2. 4R your deployment gear to be ready for a call:
- REPLENISH - inspect and replenish consumables that expire, like food/batteries/meds
- REPAIR any broken gear or outdated gear (e.g. maps and pubs)
- REPACK - pack, stow, and stage your gear for a rapid deployment
- REST yourself, body and mind
3. Cadets: rehearse, repeat, and memorize your mandatory memory items:
- Cadet Oath
- CAP Motto
- CAP Core Values
- Your Chain of Command
- Your CAPID
- Any other local memory items

5. Cadets, TAKE the on line, open book tests (after studying)!

Working on my Squadron's ES plan for the rest of this year. I also worked on completing level 3; I enrolled in TLC as well as completed several tasks in the CP Senior Rating guide
Re-evaluate my mental health status to prevent CAP from consuming my personal life. Then sit down with a cup of Earl Grey tea (hot, of course) and read a book to shift my mind to more healthy endeavours. :)

Take the GES test and notify your chain when you have passed it.
Prep your uniforms for the next time that you are going to be wearing them.
Read regulations and pamphlets that are relevant to your interests in CAP.

OK, I'll add another couple:
- Move from being a consumer of CAP training products to being a PRODUCER of quality training products, by sitting down and drafting up a training plan based on goals and resources and material needed to get your people from where they are now to where they need to be for your missions.
- Then, sit down and start writing the material, putting together your classes/training events, and rehearsing.
