Title: New CPFT, Fitness Officer development?
Post by: MMcClintock on June 29, 2016, 06:46:58 PM
Howdy, all. This is my first post so please forgive and enlighten me if I'm breaking any serious protocol.

I'm looking for information on the continued development of the fitness officer track and the new CPFT. At my home squadron (Evergreen Composite, CO-188) I'm the fitness officer and we've been beta testing the revised CPFT program. I'd like to know what others are hearing about national's plans for the fitness officer position, how soon we could expect to see specialty track guides (Technician, Senior, Master), and the process of creating and sharing fitness-related resources across the organization for us all to use.

Any guidance or direction would be greatly appreciated.

My understanding is that fitness officers are considered cadet programs officers, and thus would enroll in the cadet programs specialty track.
