Title: Lots of "internal server" errors lately
Post by: Eclipse on February 18, 2013, 07:03:01 AM
Including my just now writing a lengthy PM response and having it eaten by a server error.

Seems like these have been on the upswing the last couple weeks.

if you have a modern browser you could just hit refresh and it'll submit the post again.   As for the errors... shared hosting FTL.

Yeah, I had this a few times...

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webadmin@kundenserver.de and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It ate the entire post.  Hitting "back" refresh, etc., was of no help.
Having had this issue before, I usually select / copy the text just in case, but I didn't this time.
