Can anyone give me advice for my staff interview. There are multiple cadets applying most of whom are qualified so I would like to do really well in the interview. Example questions would help too. I am applying of first Sgt. with allot of activities under my belt.
Hard to give specifics, but think about how you would support/advise the commander, how to help train/educate flight sgts, know the chain of command for you and the squadron/group. Be aware that flight sgts do not report to you, they report to their flight commander. Keep answers gender neutral, unless a gender specific question comes up.
Know the requirements of the position that you are going for.
Why do you want to be First Sgt?
What is the most serious problem you see in the unit today?
What would you do to fix it?
